Happy one year anniversary! Wow, that took me a really long time to bring the page back....this siteCosmetically, the site is still the same. I'm still making changes to the design though, so things might look differently a week from now. As for actual updates, this page is updated as well as hiro's.
Previous updates
I created my first site, The Realm of Shadow, around January 20th, 1997 on Geocities. At first it was a Sailor Moon manga scans and fanfiction site. Over the next year, fanfiction faded out, and it became mainly a manga site with scan requests and character information. However, the work became too much for me, and I gave that up after a year and a half or so....ZoeMiCut to the summer of 1998. My anime fandom dwindled, and I discovered the joy of Japanese music. By the end of the summer, I had begun putting up the listings of the CD's that I owned. Eventually I made a full-fledged J-Music site on @Home which had RealMedia clips of certain songs, listings of my CD's and singles, geinou news, and a failed Oricon project. The pinnacle of this was when I created my SPEED fansite, Dive to SPEED. Like many other projects, however, these sites slowed down and I barely touched them.
July and August of 2001 tragedy struck and my @Home site was deleted due to bill issues. I lingered around for a little while with nothing to do until I decided to get a paid domain, http://www.zoemi.com/. I moved all of my old pages to the new server, but I held off on making any changes to those pages until I could do a proper renewal. This brings us to the present.
In November of 2002, I launched my second major site, J-Radio. It contains CD listings, clips for select songs, basic J-pop information, convention information, and much more! Unfortunately this meant that ZoeMi was put on the back seat for a while, but I think it was worth it given the outcome.
What's in the future? Someday I hope to get all of the pages up at ZoeMi.
ZoeMi is a combination of my screen name, Zoe, and my real name, Michelle. I'm not very creative. The thing that inspired me to get this name was DOREMI, a company that puts out a lot of J-pop piano books. I use the same font as them in my title which is actually known as the Babylon 5 font....tools
